LaTography

LaToya is a fun, energetic, self-taught photographer from New Jersey. She is passionate about the craft of photography and have always been an avid admirer of camera work since a child. Her first camera was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle style purchased by her dad. Her mother later purchased her a polaroid camera that she could not put down. From then, you could not stop her from snapping pictures.

 

However, LaToya did not pursue this passion until 2007. It was on a whim, her best friend asked her to take her Senior Collection pictures for college. These photos became an instant hit and the sky became the limit from that point on!

 

Confident in her photographic abilities, LaToya began a media company with a partner in 2008 called 20/20 Vision Media Productions. This company was based out of Atlanta. She later relocated back to New Jersey and started an online magazine called Above Average. 

 

LaToya knows that photography is her passion because it is the one expression of art that she could do without compensation.

 

Photography is simply a lifestyle for her, not a job at all!
